Leaves with leaflets 5, sparsely 3-4 stalks, 5-12 cm long, often thorny, pubescent when young; Leaflets elliptic, oblong, lanceolate, inverted-lanceolate or obovate, 3-7 cm long, 1.5-2.5 cm wide, apex short and acuminate, narrowly pointed at base, sparsely bristles on upper veins, densely pubescent below when young, posterior hairs sparsely bent to glabrous, margins single serrated or heavily serrate, tips often bristled, lateral veins 6-10 pairs, petioles 3-5 mm long. Umbel inflorescence single apical, rare 1-2 lateral small umbels, about 2.5 cm in diameter, with most flowers, total peduncle 4-12 cm long, densely pubescent when young, peduncle 8-10 mm long, pubescent, flowers yellow-green, calyx glabrous, marginal entire, petals 5, triangular ovate, stamens 5, ovary 3-5 chambers, columella 3-5, detached, disc conical prominence. The fruit is spherical, black, 6-8 mm in diameter, and the columella is 2 mm long. The flowering period is July, and the fruiting period is October.
